The Black Rabbit Pizza Co is a small, family owned artisan pizza restaurant located in Kaikoura, NZ. We have recently completed renovations and are now fully licensed, serving some of NZ's finest craft beer and wines. Enjoy our dine-in, unique funky restaurant, plus we also have outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas to enjoy Kaikoura at its best. And Yes! We do offer gluten free pizza options! All of our food is prepared fresh on a daily basis. Much of our ingredients are sourced locally, which is not only optimal for greater nutritional value (fresher is better) but it helps support local business too. When it comes to nutritional value, we also specialize in wild meats and of course fish caught within our local waters. We are situated at 17 Beach Road, the main road heading North, just around the first bend heading out of Kaikoura township. Come on in and enjoy a yummy pizza and beverage. Loved it! Great tasting, fast service, time estimation bang on for takeout. Try the lamb pizza, awesome! Reasonably priced too
Pizzas are okay and burgers are okay too, but nothing exciting or outstanding. Overall an average experience. Table service is very very slow. Place is probably better as takeaway meal rather then a dining experience.
Our family which has fussy eaters all enjoyed their Black Rabbit pizzas. Also appreciated was the great range of NZ beers. Best pizzas that we’ve had in NZ, happy to recommend.

Had the chefs special rabbit pizza. Delicious. Good service too. Worthy of 1st place. Outside may not look great but go inside which looks much better.
