We have eaten here dozens of times and recommended Chiwis to family and friends. Our all time favourite is the mussell pie and eggs Benedict YUM!!!! Great coffee and awesome for kids
Stopped in to pick up fish and chips. Very friendly and advised on amount for 2 of us. Was excellent. Cooked perfectly. Was so sad when last bite was gone, even though we were full.
Lunch of mussel fritters. It was served with good chunky chips and a fresh garden salad, both were good. The fritters themselves were a bit stodgy with too much filler and not enough mussel meat. Service was good.
Careful, prices vary from what’s displayed in the cabinet! – “sorry, that’s yesterday’s price we forgot to change it”
We grabbed a great long black here during our stay in Kaikoura. We sat with Mimi the resident cat who had a prime spot in the sunshine :)They had great sandwiches and bakery items available too.
