I love Indian Sumner, we’ve been going here probably once a month or every couple of months since we moved to Christchurch 2.5 years ago. We’re big foodies and I try and eat vegan, the vegan adn vegetarian options are really good! I’m genuinely surprised about the negative experiences/reviews as we’ve always found the service and food very good (super friendly and helpful staff) and no complaints re cleanliness. There must be a bad egg within the staff as this isn’t normal and we’ve never experienced bad service or food. Hopefully this has been addressed as I would hate people to be off by these negative reviews, it’s a bloody great Indian and good atmosphere. I’ve even booked it for my birthday on Saturday the 12th Oct.
I have been going to this restaurant since 2 years. Fantastic food in the heart of the Christchurch City Center. Very delicious food and worth for your money. Best customer service and the people over there are really helpful all the time when you were there. One of the best Indian restaurant. It is really worth giving it a try if you like Indian curries.
