This is quite the location with new facilities and exceptional service of food in a lovely quiet atmosphere. Ballantyne’s maintain their high standard with their menu and service.
This is an idea place to have brunch or morning or afternoon tea. The place is clean and the restrooms of a high standard. The staff and service is excellent. the variety of offerings is comprehensive and reasonably priced.
The breakfasts are excellent and the coffee superb. Not a well known cafe as it’s in the basement of Ballantynes shop and the entry from Cashel St is not obvious.
The tea rooms on the basement level of Ballantynes has the best food and tea selection. The food is always fresh, the coffee is always good and the teas as super yummy.The cost is reasonable too.
Time for tea and a sweet treat,Most pleasant miniature carrot cake muffin, lamignton filled with cream strawberry coated, as well as chocolate coated sponge. Most interesting flavours.Many choices of tea; hot water and milk presented as well.
