I was in Christchurch last week for business when I found myself outside Churchill’s in Colombo Street. This was well out of walking distance from my hotel in the CBD. It was dinner time so I decided on dinning here before making my way back to the CBD. I was and still am absolutely amazed at what I experienced. I had been in Christchurch for 3 nights and had been out with clients for dinner every night dinning at some very classy and expensive restaurants but the night I decided to dine at Churchill’s by myself I had the best meal I have experienced in a long time. This may sound strange to you but when I mentioned this to others they laughed. The chef working here knows what he is doing and should visit the other restaurants I dined at in Christchurch to give them some sharpening up. I will be back to visit next time I’m in town and this time I will be bringing my clients too. Everyone, take my word, this was top notch.
