the food is pretty tasty and the quantity is Jumbo.I have my takeaways atleast twice a week.would recommend people to try it out.since there are variety of dishes you might have to choose and try out different dishes before you settle on one and then make that as your regular dish.
We order food on friday night after a long day of work and ask for hot,but what comes up is 100s of red whole chilli in each takeaway box.even after first spoon our stomach was burningwont even think of going there again.
I’ve been meaning to post a review on this place and have finally gotten around to it. Well I’m sorry to say my experience was not good, in fact it was damn bad (and I don’t put that out there lightly). Around the beginning of 2017 I had just had a hard day of moving house with my brother, so naturally with the wife being away the logical choice was takeout. He was quickly dispatched with orders to buy from New Wah (Colombo st, by countdown) takeaway which does great Chinese and fish’n’chips, and which I’ve been buying from for years without a problem: anyway he comes back and tells me New Wah is closed and passes me a tray of combination fried rice from Jumbo Food Centre Colombo st. And although it appeared okay at a glance it tasted a little old, particularly the cabbage which seemed in excess with modest amounts of meat. Unfortunately for me, at the time I was that ravenous and couldn’t help maybe and devoured the whole lot.Suffice it say, I was a very sick boy the next morning and for the following week thereafter, with constant stomach cramps and all the other nasties that came out both ends; it took me 2 full weeks to completely recover, so no I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you want to take a chance on being poisoned. That was my experience anyways.
Frankly speaking I never eat this kind of fried rice & noodle in New Zealand , it is very clean & tidy as well. I also like chicken fired rice with chilli in it . It’s remind me my country ‘s test .
