Lovely staff, fast service, love the sparkling water tap – brilliant. Would be nice to see a bigger menu in the future! The full cooked breakfast was awesome, definitely worth the price as the meal was huge. Coconut milk as an option for coffee is the reason I will keep going back.

Got a Latte and Eggs & Hash, both were awesome. Super friendly staff. Location is very central, easily accessible from cbd. May be a bit expensive for people on budget, but it is worth it.

I drive past Laneway quite often and had been meaning to try it for ages. I went for a Friday morning breakfast with friends. The cafe was reasonably quiet but the light streaming in was beautiful. I like the industrial but clean cut and modern interiors. Staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to alter a dish due to food intolerances. The breakfast menu was nothing out of the ordinary but food was very delicious. I had eggs benedict with bacon, served on potato rosti instead of an English muffin as I can’t eat wheat. The potato rosti was so tasty and the eggs perfectly poached. But in my opinion there was too much hollandaise. One of my friends had poached eggs on toast with sides of mushroom and avocado. Her eggs were also perfectly poached and the side servings were generous. My other friend had a pesto bagel which she really enjoyed too. I didn’t have a coffee but both my friends said the coffee was great. I’m sure I’ll be returning to Laneway in the near girlinbetween.com

1st time- I ordered the corn fritters with bacon, green salad and salsa for lunch. Fritters were very dry and so was the salsa,so asked for some aioli and that was forthcoming. The green salad was just spinach only and undressed, bacon was over cooked. Over all not a very good experience. 2nd time- Went back another time for lunch and ordered the eggs benedict, with bacon. It was an enjoyable meal. Fast, friendly and organized service. The sparkling water on tap is good.
