Went there this evening. Excellent hostess. Gave very good recommendations and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. However, though the margaritas were delicious, I seriously have doubts about quantity of tequila.
The ambience of this place is exactly the same in any part of NZ. Christchurch Mexico was no different. Very organised chaos created with loads of photo frames, beer bottles and skull idols.Good mexican food with heaps of options. Vegetarian options available aswell.I would def suggest to try the fried chicken. 5 pieces of crisp moist chicken served with mayo. Give the 5 sauces on the table a go. Am sure you will find your match. The chorizo tacos are a good option. Quesadillas are another one. The quater chicken can be missed.What one definitely needs to have is the churros and margaritas. As many as you can. Everything in the menu is a bit on the pricier side. But nonetheless, give it a go.Pricewise: $70 for 2Returns: For drinks and desserts.
