We ordered the house cured salmon / lemon labne / pickled ginger, Warm courgette salad /chorizo / haloumi, Pan fried potato gnocchi /rocket / lemon / sage / parmesan, Finely sliced aged beef fillet / green sauce / mum’s chip potatoes, and Today’s local artisan cheese served with a selection from our house lavosh, gingerbread, walnut bread, honey and macerated stone fruits. The food was really nice but there wasn’t a lot of cheese and we didn’t get any gingerbread on our cheese platter (just realised – at the time I just thought there wasn’t a lot of bread). I personally found the seats a bit uncomfortable. It was quite loud upstairs – to be fair they had warned us they were expecting a large group and we were given the option of moving downstairs when a table became available.
I absolutely love this place!! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and you felt like they were passionate and really wanted you to have a good time!My boyfriend and I ended up choosing to go with a one of everything of the semi smallish plates they have and the flavour combinations were amazeballs! I recommend this place to friends and family. Make sure you take your time when you go here, don’t rush in or out before you leave. The atmosphere is super cute in retro old New Regent street. It can get a bit hot upstairs so take layers in case you need to cool off a bit.
