Amazing service and great coffee combo deal! I bought a large coffee and muffin combo for $7.50. This is a great deal and offer and if you do happen to go past Boulevard cafe don’t hesitate to pop inside. The man serving me yesterday was really lovely. It is a worthwhile offer as coffee and muffins can be expensive. I bought a delicious banana and white chocolate muffin. It was different but delicious and worth trying. The banana is not overly mixed into the mixture but it shows banana pulp in the muffin.
Unfortunately this place has gone downhill big time since last year. I went last week and they got the coffee order as well as the breakfast wrong. Came back today to order pancakes and they were really awful. Both extremes – severely under cooked where the mixture was raw and over cooked where it was rubbery. The waitress asked how our meals were when I went to pay and I politely told as I thought they’d like to know. No offer in reduction of the price, we had a 25% voucher which they said we could use again. I’m a very reasonable reviewer and like to support local cafes but both their food quality and customer service has let them down.
