So after have a friend rave about this place we decided to give it a go. We thought it would be a good idea to go for the chefs selection $45 ahead. Well what a disappoint this was. Chicken I think was from a pams 5kg bag. Tough and tasteless. I boiled a piece of chicken for my dog the night before and it tasted better. Rolled pork with some sort of disgusting stuffing that completely over powered any flavor, oh and also tough. Peas that resembled lead shot. I did enjoy the potatoes though. So McDonalds it was on the way home. I mean damn. It couldn’t get any worse. So for me this was not a good choice by any means and would suggest you save your money from the beginning and just buy the McD from the start

Very sophisticated restaurant. I had this vegetarian dish and it was really yummy. Bookings required as it’s open only in the evenings. It’s right in the city centre and easy to get to.

This place is a hidden gem, didn’t even know it existed but so glad I had the opportunity to eat here. We chose the menu that is a surprise and wow we were surprised. Started with salmon that was sooo delicious, melt in your mouth perfection and a pea moose pate dish. Mains was fish with buckwheat, delicious! Also had the pork belly which was amazing, I am not a pork belly fan but this one was so good! Will definitely be back!!!!

Finally got to try out the new spot since they moved and updated the menu and it was absolutely outstanding! I am a hospitality worker myself and make an effort to check out as many new places as I can and in my opinion this is the best dining experience in Christchurch. Trust the chef is the way to go

  • Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!

From the moment I walked in I was blown away, the staff are on the ball, the restaurant is very funky it’s something u will find in Melbourne in one of there hidden laneways. The bar tender took me too me to my seat said the waiter will be with me soon. I ordered a Bloody Mary as I wanted to take of the edge of eating out alone. He made me the best bloody meet I have ever had. Perfect about of spice I like it medium hot, wow it was mind blowing!I ordered the duck parfait as a starter it was so well balanced, the bread was lightly toasted and the pickles was tray sweet and the duck was so well done it was tasty over all well balanced For the mail I ordered the fish with a rocket and pear salad the fish was cooked to perfection the pyre was so Devine!!!!! I can’t wait to go back there it’s really an amazing restaurant!!!!!!

We stopped in after going to a do for a sweet treat. I ordered the passionfruit creme brulee and a hot chocolate. They were both very nice and service was friendly.
