I’ve always had a great experience at Winnies, I’ve been a customer for many years now and couldn’t fault it, food delicious and if there are any problems staff are quick to correct, a busy bustling restaurant with atmosphere
Love it ! It’s so good and pizza and drink is soo nice! They staff is friendly and lovely to talk to, the service is so fast and I love it also good for events
Nice cosy warm restaurant with a very chill vibe. Ordered Chilli Pesto bread and jalapino poppers to start with. The bread was perfectly cooked. The poppers were OK but have had better before. We had a half n half chicken chilli shrimp pizza and spicy lamb flavour. The lamb was decent but the highlight was the chicken chilli shrimp pizza it was devine! However I swear they forgot to put shrimp on it but it was delicious so I didnt mind. Service was average, they got out pizza order wrong so we had to wait a bit longer and even the drinks took 15mins for two cokes cause they only had one person serving and I think she got distracted. Will go back next time I’m in town though its great food
New Winnie’s Bagoes City at 40 Welles St is a more cozy place. The food and service is top notch and the Guinness still taste great. Will be back.
Best place to make your dining experience memorable with gourmet pizza. A modern restaurant with traditional serving style! I would love to visit them again. Thanks.
I am really thankful to their staffs for making my dining experience special and memorable. The pizza is very tasty. Just give a try to their Caesar salad!
The Honey Beef Pizza is one of the best pizzas you will ever have in NZ. Personally, I don’t like beef but the smokiness and sauces complemented each other very well. It’s nice and lively atmosphere was on par with places alike. The only reason to go to Winnie Bagoes instead of Pizza Hutt or Dominoes is for the Honey Beef pizza.
