Really, really bad! Curry was watery and breads were rubbery. After trying many places this really is towards the bottom of the pile.Don’t do it!

My wife and i have purchased food from here before. We didnt even eat half of it. The naan was terrible. The curries we got we could have done better with some rice and chicken and poured some Pataks sauce over it.We got served but a kid of about 8 who wasnt able to serve properly.Have taken our business elsewhere. When we want a curry, we want a good curry.

Worst curry I’ve ever had. Got the butter chicken and the chicken was absolutely horrible. Stringy and old. The naan was also bad as it was stale. Definitely NOT going back!!

I don’t understand why everybody is so negative about this place. We eat there regularly (at least once a week) and have no hesitations going back. The service is great, particularly the ability to text in your orders. The guy is friendly, always gets our orders correct, and almost always gives us something free or extra to try. We’ve tried most of the dishes on the menu and with the exception of 1 encounter, everything has been delicious. I have just completed my first All Black Royal card and even got a new card with a stamp when I redeemed my free curry. Looking forward to this week’s Chicken Vindaloo. A+

After reading the reviews we thought we would try out Sai Touch Of Spice. Very disappointed, complete muck up in our orders and nothing was rectified due to the man serving/taking orders his English was very poor – prepaid for garlic naan and received naan which was doughy due to being undercooked & also received incorrect curries (our orders weren’t mixed up with another customer due to we were the only people in the store), the only thing that was done right was the spicing, the actual curries we were given wouldn’t have been what we would order normally so can’t comment on quality due to the curries didn’t appeal. Frustrating experience please give your staff some training or if it was the owner/manager who served us please employ someone who can take orders & deal with customers so that when an order is mucked up it can be sorted out rather than the customer leaving with nothing sorted out.

I came to this restaurant after reading an article in a local paper. The food was very good and the menu offered a few unfamiliar items. There were other items which were not in the menu but written and displayed on various locations of the restaurant.Prices were reasonable and have dined there again. The decor could be improved a lot many put off many people. But the food was better than i expected, hence the reason for my first review. Well worth a try. There were few specials running when i dinned here and well worth asking.

It’s really hard to do a critical review of an honest family owned business. Sai Touch of Spice is such a business, and yet I can but be critical even in the face of real genuine family friendliness. Its not as if the more diverse than typical menu doesn’t please upon first blush. Nor the prices. This being a takeaway joint alone, prices are minimised. And yet, all is not as it might appear. Its nice to see a few dishes beyond the almost entirely unvarying and predictably boring Punjabi norm found absolutely elsewhere, everywhere. But I’d be entirely more positive if these dishes retained their original regional distinctiveness. Fact is that they don’t. Moreover, even while all the dishes I’ve tried here exhibit a certain pleasing home cooked honesty, they equally exhibit a distinctly unpleasing murk and funk.Although friendly, I’ve found the service duplicitous. The Sun-Thurs offer of a $11.99 special is entirely provisional. Rather, one automatically gets charged $13.99 for the dubious privilege of receiving a ‘complimentary’ butter naan. Whoopee, not, especially when said naan is as crispy as a papadam and yet a 10th as edible. This place gave the first impression of being a good thing. Such a shame first impressions can be so misleading.
