Firstly, three things I would like: access to bottles of water like other cafes have, a daily Press and a general lift to the place as described below. This is a Very good place to come anytime and relax. I like the $5 muffin and coffee combo. A very good setting. Huge potential for an outdoor garden area with updated seating and potplants. Hosts need to attend to seating area more to take away dishes and wipe tables, but the floor is cleaner than it used to be. Walls need a good paint and with pictures. Need a divider to separate kitchen completely from dining area. Couches need a rug over them to conceal rips, too. The people will keep coming back for a coffee if these improvements take place.

Cassidy – I love this place (or the idea of it anyway). To be able to get something aside from fast food in the middle of the night is awesome. We stopped in here very early morning when we got to Christchurch and got a roast pork roll each, plus a blueberry muffin, a piece of lolly cake, and some other chocolates/lollies. The roll was lovely, really hit the spot after a long overnight flight. The meat was fresh, and the bun was so very soft. The only thing I would say is I would prefer a bun without the cheese baked on top of it. The blueberry muffin I didn’t have until the next day but even then it was super moist and very generous with the amount of blueberries. With the lolly cake, it’s a bit cheeky of me as an Aussie to say I prefer the one I made at home a few months ago, simply because they cut up the Eskimos/fruit puffs too small to enjoy that part of them. All in all, this place is awesome and I wish there was something like it in Melbourne.Sneakers – As mentioned above, I had a roast pork roll (with no gravy). This place is an old favourite of mine. Throughout my life I’ve honestly been here a couple of hundred times between 1am and 6am. My only complaint would be that the roast pork rolls are assembled on scales and the scaled were super grimy with dried up and congealed gravy and salt all over them, which isn’t super appealing.
