We came across The Good Home during our visit to Christchurch and it was so different to any other restaurant/bar I’ve been to. I loved the detail of the interior decor that gave it an at-home vibe and the staff are really friendly. The open spaces and cosy corners can cater for anything from intimate coffee meetings to large family dinners. We ordered a platter to share, mussels (NZ fave), beef cheeks, halmoumi and dessert. Food was pretty amazing and you could tell there was care taken in preparing it. Only downside was that we had to follow up on our orders after 45 minutes and it took over an hour for all our orders to arrive (served all at once).
