Nice friendly service but quite bland food and very small mains portions. I had spring rolls which were good and chicken pad kra pao which was decidedly average. Although I have recently returned from Thailand so maybe my expectations are a little high?
So yummy and delicious..really aunthentic thai food..Loved it..we visited twice while staying in Christchurch. Good hospitality. Happy to choose this restaurant
Had to wait way to long, ingredients missing from the dish, was watery and tasteless, small proportions for the cost of the dish. wont be going back there agen.
One of the best Thai Chef’s in Christchurch and the food is reasonably priced.The new premises are a huge improvement over the old ones and the staff are nice and friendly. I’ve tried the rest but the Green Chilli is best
I’ve been here many times over the years. Some meals are a bit hit or miss, but general pretty good thai food. We had lunch recently, a beef larb and ginger chicken. Tasty, big servings and friendly service. The thai basil dish is good (but sweet) and the salads I would recommend.
I hate most of the food in Christchurch. I find it overpriced, non-authentic, overpriced, and bland. The staff are usually rude and act like you should be thankful they’re serving you. However, I’ve always loved the Green Chili- I went years ago and had a shock at finding their shop empty. Luckily they didn’t move far. I love that it looks like a proper dine-in now and was scared that the food and prices may have suffered because of the bigger location. I went there tonight and was very happy to say if anything, the food was BETTER than before, and that’s saying a lot! Best Asian food in town, hands down!
