Had lunch here today in a group of 10 people. The atmosphere and ambience is lovely. It is themed around a Victorian Tea Room with lovely old tea cups and saucers etc. you can get High Teas here as well as very English breakfast and lunch options. The menu includes Cornish pasties, Eggs Benedict, Pork Pie and Beef Hot Pie to name a few. I found the initial service to be very good and the Maître De wonderful to deal with. So helpful and went above and beyond. We were seated after about fifteen minutes and then left for about half an hour the drinks were ordered. We then ordered lunch and after an hour that turned up. Three of us got our lunch and then fifteen to twenty minutes later everyone else’s turned up. Needless to say my Eggs Benedict with extra hollandaise sauce was very cold. The English muffin was soggy and hollandaise was not made from scratch. Too much egg white floating around my eggs and spinach was wilted. One tiny piece of bacon under my eggs. I sort of had to search for it. My husband’s Cornish Pastie was cold and he had a wilted salad on the side. The Beef Hot Pie my friend had was steamy and apparently delicious so that was good. I personally would not go back as that type of food is not my style but thought we would try it out. In saying that the service was great.

The atmosphere was really nice, but I don’t think I’d return unless I was with my grandparents. It’s a very proper British high tea looking place. The coffee and chai were very average, I’d had better from Muffin Break. The food was average too. For the price I would expect something of better quality. I felt very under dressed and out of place even though we were all dressed nicely. I might take my Nana there for breakfast or lunch one day, but I won’t be returning by myself.
