Had the aged Scotch Fillet Surf and Turf for 38$ Miserable steak, a scotch fillet should be a bit thicker than 10mm and besides that be of a decent quality, never again.

Went for a meal and drinks on Friday night 20/5/16, The meals were absolutely fantastic and was a credit to the chef and establishment. The staff were very polite and helpful. The décor was perfect and the cost of the night was very reasonable. I would go again and have no problem recommending this place.

Great staff, food is great, love the friendly environment, good place to take family for dinner or even the good old after work drinks. Gig screen TV with perfect picture for the rugby and sports. Thanks guys for the awesome time 🙂

Visited Down The Road for the first time – exquisite decor, lovely friendly welcoming staff, and the dinner meal was the best we have had for a long time. It was a wonderful night out and we will certainly be back soon! Congratulations to management and staff!!

The owner is passionate but the minute he turned his back it turned to custard..food ok but the staff drinking behind the bar while tables needed clearing a big no no .. Ken has the right idea but he needs to sort the team out..great location, menu is good, staff need a kick because you weren’t even busy.

This bar and brasserie is now open, vibrant, airy, modern, friendly and helpful staff. Gone are the heavy dark timbers of former days. There are smart chrome and black bar stools and the bar tables have a handbag hook on the leg which is a very natty idea! Regular tables and chairs are available as well. We haven’t tried the food yet, but have heard others rave about it, and the menu looks interesting and well priced. Prices for house wine and beer are very reasonable, there’s good music playing not too loudly in the background. Down the Road promises to have a loyal clientele as more people find out about it.
