It’s one of the best restaurants ever. Really nice tasty food, well presented. Excellent menu of starters , mains and desserts. Very nice staff who make you feel most welcome. The management must be very proud. Always look forward to dining at the Brickhouse Restaurant.Would thoroughly recommend.
Went here for a family meal and it was excellent. Nice atmosphere and a great selection on the menu. Portions were a good size and the variety of vegetables that came with your main was amazing. My only ‘criticism’ is that I wish the kids meals came with the option of having salad or veges like the adult meals.Would definitely go again and recommend for a good value family meal option.
Came here with my partner for a work do. We got there when it had just opened, a little bit early, and the staff were friendly and helped with the decision as everything sounded so good! I got the warm chicken salad and my partner the steak, both were fantastic huge meals! The prices are equally great especially for the quality and quantity you receive. It got very busy as the night went on but wait times weren’t very long.
We tried this place on to stop for dinner whilst driving home from Hamilton to Wgtn. Excellent Service, very prompt food and surprisingly busy for 6pm on a Friday. The meals exceeded our expectations for what initially appeared to be a pub type environment [one doesn’t have to sit in sight of the bar] very good value. We would be happy to return.
Had a lovely lunch here for my sisters birthday. The prawn cocktail looked a little limp but the steak soon made up for that and was cooked to perfection. Seemed to be missing part of the steak though as it appeared to be halved?? However had a really good experience here and would recommend.
Went to a family get together a couple of weeks ago, what a fantastic night out. The food was really good, fresh, well presented and plenty of it!!! I had the warm beef salad followed by a chocolate pudding, both tasty and obviously not brought in. Nice and warm and a very cool old building. Would definitely go back next time I go to Wanganui.
