Had an excellent dining experience at Cow-ree lodge. Pleasant atmosphere, great service and delicious food. The menu is varied and had trouble picking a dish as they all sound so delicious! The chocolate mud cake was absolutely divine. Would love to come back and try the dinner and desert menu. Thank you.

Had a lovely meal at Cow-ree lodge. Prices were average. Food delicious. Service good. New owners still finding their way. Give them a week or two it will be terrific!
Previously this was a place we stopped for coffee and cake when passing. Under new management it has become a destination. Divine breakfast – order a side of baked beans for an unbelievable flavor treat – accompanied by beautifully brewed coffee! Excellent lunch and dinner choices from a menu with something for everyone. Our new favorite eatery.
8 of us went for a Sunday lunch. Great variety of food. We tried 6 different dishes from lambs fry to linguine to scallops and they were all a good lunch size and beautifully cooked. Definitely would go again. They’ve only been open about a week and haven’t got their phone number on the website. It is 06 7522183.
