Very disappointing. Had the smoked chicken salad for $22 and it consisted of 1 egg, 3 capers, thumb size amount of feta, around 50grams of smoked chicken and a handful of iceberg lettuce with 4 spirals of cucumber. Tasted OK, but only worth $15 on a good day. Left the place still hungry, wouldn’t recommend. Should have taken a photo.

Local sustainable ingredients cooked in a creative mindful manner. What’s not to like about the slightly dusted squid aka kalamari by the sea? It was a light but nourishing lunch with a great view. A perfect place to showcase sustainable #kiwicuisine.
A FIRM FAVORITE. I have been going to the Bach for years, and I have found it to be consistently good always. My personal favorite is the vegetarian stack which shows originality and flair, and is delicious. The staff are always courteous, the wait for food is never too long, and now I see they have parking just for customers, so you don’t have to pay. Awesome!
Well I’ve certainly learned the hard way the benefits of checking Zomato before dining. We were in a hurry so I didn’t bother – if I had we would have been spared a terrible dining experience! In summary – I’d be surprised if anything is fresh in this place. Limp wilting salad. Frozen fish that tastes like it came out of a cardboard box. So called home style sausages that make cherios taste gourmet. Unless you just swam ashore after being marooned on an island for a month – I suggest you keep going to the next place.
If I could give this place a zero I would. Costly meals for tiny portions. Wouldn’t ever go there again. Owner was also rude and didn’t really seem to give a toss about complaints. If she had she could have easily resolved the issue.
I can’t understand coming into a café where I ask for a berry smoothie and get bought out a bottled smoothie in a glass and get charged $6.70 for it!! I hardly have to pay this in Wellington for a freshly made one. What a mark up and maybe the rent costs are too high for them and they have to put this into their drinks!Staff were embarrassed with my frustration on this and it appeared that they might have to face this a lot from customers!
