Great little spot in the middle of Blenheim. Small menu but what they have is great and with great service. Make sure to make a reservation. The fried chicken is terrific as was the beet root with goat cheese. Worth a visit for sure.

We went there for an evening meal. On arrival 4 staff at the bar were too busy chatting with each other to acknowledge us. We both ordered the fish of the day on asparagus and salad it sounded great on the menu. The meals arrived and the asparagus was replaced with beans. The waitress didn’t seem to understand that a menu change should be highlighted before taking an order. Then my partner found a long hair interwoven through his salad. The waitress again surprised that I was uninterested in eating my meal which included the same salad probably including more unwanted hair. We could hear the discussion about us from the kitchen. The manager came out and apologized and we paid for our drinks only. The menu and the service was not appealing enough for us to give this place another go. The staff need to realize that customers dine out seeking a good experience and when incidents happen it ruins that evening out – we don’t get any pleasure from having a reason to complain.

Ate here as a family group. Son-in-law got a cold meal (steak sandwich & fries). Prawn dish also lacked flavour. When mentioning the cold meal to the manager she was not too bothered-barely an apology. Good setting which is the only reason I would eat here for lunch again. Drinks & snacks are OK for after work.

    Good burgers and beer selection.
