Being a Monday night there wasn’t much choice in restaurants but the motel we were staying had recommended this one. What a let down – a seafood basket was served with crab stick and other ready from the freezer type sea foods. Serving this in a town right on the oceans doorstep was just completely wrong. Both meals were unenjoyable. It is a shame because the decor was interesting and eclectic – if only the food had been created with the same love.
I went during the day with two other people, no one was there but us, yet the girl working the counter seemed absolutely bothered we were there. She was quite rude and very unfriendly. Two of us ordered the soup of the day, which when it came to us was luke warm and tasted as if it came from a can. It was severely watered down. The bread that came with it was stale and over-toasted. I would not go back as it was over-priced for what we got.
