Another Vineyard visit on our trip South was to Allan Scotts.After a bit of time debating over what we should order as it all sounded so tempting I opted for the Seafood Chowder. Love Seafood Chowder however some places it is too thick. Not here it was creamy full of seafood and devine. In fact some people sat next to us and ask what we had eaten and they ordered the Chowder as well and loved it. Main Course I had the Salmon Fillet with quinoa tabbouleh and lemon roast fennel. Beautifully cooked just to my liking. My partner ordered the Black Angus Beef with kumara puree and said it was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and welcoming.A couple of glasses of Pinot Gris and Sauvignon went down well. Have eaten here many years ago and loved it then. Great to see the standards are still there.
I went there for my sister – laws birthday, the staff were wonderful, the service was great.One waiter went that extra mile when someone in our group said they had forgot their reading glasses when the waiter went and got a little basket of spare glasses,the ones the customers have left behind.The food was so yummy I am going again.It is well worth a visit
