Bacco is the Roman God of Wine, Bacco Restaurant and Wine Bar changed its ownership and name from Caf Affair in October 2016. We are a premium wine bar/restaurant with an Italian/European spin to our dishes. We are all about fresh, local ingredients where possible and we have a food matching our premium wines philosophy. Superb meals. The combination of flavours was excellent. I had smoked therakihi. Very tasty. Great service. The staff were very friendly. The Cafe had a very welcoming feel.
Great service, lovely food! We took the garlic bread as a starter, and for the main dish the hot stone prawns and scallops.
We stopped here on a day we had generous breakfast and lunch and wanted a good quality light dinner with some good wine. Great service from Jo. Enjoyed the tapas platter to share. Were made to feel very welcome.
We popped in for an early diner last sunday , what a stunning resturant , loved the food and great service . Would go back anytime ! Well done guys
We chose Café Affair for a bite of lunch on a walk through the city during our stay in Nelson and were pleased with our choice. Would recommend.
