  We booked ahead but need not have bothered as we seemed to be the only diners. On arrival we were not greeted until we approached the bar, although there were only a few patrons present. Once we established we were there for the meal–4 of us- we were given a menu to look at, but given no indication of even the existence of a dining room so we sat at the only table we could see that was available – a high bar table. We looked at the menu–quite a reasonable one for a Bistro While seated at the bar table we spied through the bar what appeared to be a dining room. On enquiry we were told it was but still had to ask if it was ok to sit in there. We doubt we would have been told about it otherwise. We prefer not to eat in a noisy bar, particularly as one of us is only 10 yrs old. After our orders were taken we waited–and waited–and waited–until after 20 min’s or so the bar person came to tell us one of our choices was not available. As these orders had been processed to the kitchen 20 mins earlier–and we appeared to be the only diners, one would have thought they could have told us that almost immediately after we ordered. That of course led to further waiting. However the meals were very good for a Bistro, and a reasonable price. It is unlikely we will go back.
