We came to River Kitchen for a quick breakfast before a day of exploring. Amazing setting right on the river banks with bean bags outside and plenty of seating with a view.We had coffees and the muesli as and couple of slices of toast. Not a hard breakfast to prepare but it was actually very tasty and service was quick and friendly despite the number of folks who chose that exact moment to arrive. Toast was extra special grainy bread and nice and thickly cut. Recommended.
Muesli was super sweet, couldnt finish it. Also the menu said it would come with seasonal fruits but only came with 4 slices of banana and 3 grapes….asked for more fruit and was told I had to buy extra for $7. Poached eggs were also over cooked, pretty boiled.
Awesome location for a relaxing break with the afternoon sun warming us up. Love the selection of non dairy milk for coffee and a vegan scone…offered with butter but hey that’s a small detail.
