The customer service here was really good. They were super attentive The food was pretty good but it wasnt the best Mum had the pork ribs and she said that they were just ok I had the vegetarian burger and it was good to begin with but the taste and the texture got annoying about half way through But their onion rings abd their fries were delicious

Food: We happened to find the Vic Mac’s Brewbar in the midst of running from a downpour of rain and ordered the seafood platter and which did not disappoint. All the components of the meal was fresh and seasoned well. We found the calamari in particular to be very well cooked. We enjoyed the aioli sauce but found butter sauce too watery.Service: We were initially a little confused about whether we needed to order at the bar or if it was table service. The waitress was quick to advise that it was table service and took our order shortly thereafter. Price: Fairly reasonably priced.

We called past The Vic in the centre of Nelson last week on a gloriously warm Sunday afternoon. Perfect weather to sit outside and listen to live music and soak up the atmosphere of this buzzy little part of town. We ordered wings and cheesie chips and a Macs Red Ale or three. Chips were pipping hot and we got bacon bits out to the side so my non bacon eating wife could partake. Delicious. Wings were also nice but not at all spiced like I have known wings to be. Still tasty though. We enjoyed our introduction to Nelson.
