Ive been here quite a few times. I give this a 3.5 good food but not great authentic Thai. Last time I was there I ordered my fav dish of all time, red curry. Im pretty sure they used frozen vegetables and it wasnt as spicy as I remembered in the past.
We stumbled upon this place in our travel and we were so happy we did! The service was excellent, very attentive and took the time to ensure everyone was happy and looked after.The food portions were extremely large and served steaming hot. We loved the fresh thai basil chicken and the lemongrass chicken – no artificial flavours or frozen veggies in sight. Everything was fresh and so filling. Highly recommend booking a place as they do get busy quite quickly and there are takeaways available too, which would be really nice on the beach just down the road.
Thai Tahuna – I’ve dined here literally hundreds of timesnow. Excellent food, Value and Service. Highly recommend their Curries and also their Claypot Chicken – Superb dining for lunch and dinner. Lunch pricing very good value. Highly recommended 🙂
The worst mussaman curry I have ever had, it almost tasted off. We also had chicken satay skewers which were so wafer thin it basically had no taste apart from the satay sauce. This is the second and last time we have visited this restaurant.
We go to this restaurant every time we are in Nelson (fortnightly!) and the food is excellent. The service is very good and the staff always remember us. We also go to other restaurants in the same chain when in Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill and the service and food is consistently good.
Mutton dressed up as Lamb. Had a very disappointing meal with 3 friends. Easily the worst rice combo I’ve ever had for the price and the mains where dominated with sliced carrot . Sorry guys. What’s going to happen when the tourists have left?
