Stopped in for a coffee and a bit of cake, which went down very well. The Man had a Thai Beef Salad which he said was delicious. It certainly disappeared quickly! Friendly service, and a great characterful setting. Country caf done well.
The Courthouse Cafe looks nice, but the service and food was very poor. We were given dirty wine glasses and the waitress couldn’t find any clean ones. In the end I asked for a tea towel so I could clean them. I ordered a Thai Chicken Salad, but got a plate of lettuce with 50 grams of smoked chicken smothered in an unrecognisable sauce. We should have realised the place would be terrible when the only Sauvignon Blanc wine on the menu was from Australia. I will not be returning.
