I have been here a couple of times now and I am throughly impressed and the setting really makes it. Lying by the wharf in Mapua right next to the estuary provides fantastic scenery that is easily soaked up whilst enjoying a meal.The service here is good and efrecient enough, nothing rapid but not too slow. The staff are very friendly and there is nothing to be concerned about in this department.The atmosphere and aesthetic is beautiful here with great views and a relaxed setting, it provides a very calm and upmarket feel. Everything is light and open with a contemporary finish.The food is a winner here, especially the blue cheese gnocchi, it had a great texture and the sauce was perfect. My partner had the fish and chips which was also very good, maybe the chips lack a slight upmarketness, but it is nothing really to complain about. My friends also had the burger which was tasty.Overall the place has a lovely charm and relaxed feel overlooking fantastic scenery. The food is also very good and the service was efficient enough and staff were very friendly making for a great overall experience. It doesn’t fully blow me away but it has a lovely relaxed setting with a certain eloquence about the place and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone travelling to the area.
