Loved our meal here, I had the felafel platter which I would definitely recommend. Seafood chowder was okay, local beers and ciders were awesome, will be back!

This is a fun place with live music some evenings. But book a table! We didn’t and had a long wait for promised menus. In the end I hunted some out ourselves but the fries came quickly and were yum! During the day you can get ice creams and smoothies but these are not available in the evening. Good local beer.

So yummy!! Staff did super well as the cafe was crazy busy. Food was delicious- great vegetarian/vegan options. I had the falafel platter, would recommend!! The whole vibe of the place is just great.

This is a delightful cafe; well worth taking the time to explore. Great range of fresh fruit ice cream. Expect decent wait times for your stuff to arrive but there’s plenty to keep your eyes interested.

If you have to describe Toad Hall in 2 words it’d be ‘organised chaos’.This place is exceptionally busy, especially at this time of year. Somehow though the staff seem to have it all under control and rarely lose their smiley, happy demeanour. Its also a great place for families with an amazing and secure playground within. The food is great and a great kids menu (recommend the kids platter for the young ‘uns to pick at on trips between the table & playground). We had a brunch, and the portion sizes are great, and the largest coffee you can get is served in a soup bowl! Save room for a real fruit ice cream on the way out!The biggest downer about this place is, as its so busy there can be a bit of a wait for food, but its worth the wait!

The best yoghurt ice cream place on this planet! Period! I had the Mixed Berries and Bananas combo and it couldn’t be more any perfect than that. Literally almost made me cry because of its rich flavor and unpretentious consistency.Anybody passing by Motueka should stop by at Toad Hall and grab their favorite ice cream. Also the crew’s service was commendable and topnotch! Cheers!
