We stopped in for a morning coffee and were warmly greeted by the staff. The atmosphere is cosy with a fireplace inside and lush gardens outside. It’s a beautiful spot for a meal. Cakes looked dinive. We enjoyed our coffees and the friendly service that came with them.

Went there today, was a lovely meal although I doubted the terakihi freshness. The worse thing about the meal was the hair my friend found in her food. Also the flys were terrible there, should have been sprayed before the customers came in.

I love Grape Escape which I found while looking for the best eggs Benedict in Nelson! We live in Picton, and had spent the night in nelson so going out for a nice breakfast/lunch was on! I travel all over NZ for my job and I do taste every eggs Benedict with salmon I can in every town and have only come up with one in NZ and that is fantastic every time in Blenheim, now there are two places that are just mouth watering and you always want more and more!!! My eggs Benedict with salmon was absolutely fantastic and above all was the best I’ve had next to Blenheim’s, when paying for this perfect meal I couldn’t help but look at the gorgeous Cesar Salad exiting the kitchen and yes I wanted more!!! We will be back and I give Grape Escape a AAAAA+++++ rating for the most comfortable atmosphere and beautiful, quality of food, and beverages!! in Nelson. Thank you all so much for the gorgeous Kiwi hospitality!

We had friends visiting from overseas and wanted to take them somewhere nice for Sunday brunch. I’d had lunch at the Grape Escape before and thought it would be the ideal place — great atmosphere, beautiful cozy garden setting near vineyards, and excellent food.We had a wonderful time and a delicious, relaxing meal served by very attentive and professional staff.Highly recommended!
