Overcast Saturday but spent a lovely lunch with friends here. Sat outside in May and enjoyed the view, service and food. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection, my friends had steak and a pizza and seafood. Would return next time in Nelson.
What a great location this place is in. We went on a beautiful almost summers day (28th November) and it was stunning! We got a shared platter and found that a large portion of it was bread and odd that the only type of cheese on it was blue vein. It could have done with some tomato or grapes as it would have made it feel a lot more fresh but while we drank our beers in the sunshine, it was hard to complain. Definitely worth a visit if you can babb an outside table.
Have dined here before and it is always great. The staff are wonderful and attentive, the service is efficient considering the place is very busy. The food is great. We shared garlic bread and salt and pepper squid, both were good. I had the chicken leg dish, very tasty and the dessert of choc mocha pot didn’t disappoint. I will return again.
