Had a superb meal here this evening, my steak was cooked to perfection and the presentation was what I would expect given their 5 star rating. They have a good selection of vegetarian food as well as accommodation for other dietary requirements. The roasted onion tart looked very appetising and our other two dishes. .. French onion soup and spicy beef salad were also very well prepared and presented and were thoroughly enjoyed.
For a restaurant that is meant to have a five star rating the food I had was terribe. The steak was over cooked, not medium rare. The onions were burnt and the chips were dry and hard. As for the eggs they were extremely dry, no runny yolk. The only decent thing I got was the garlic bread and that was nice. Would I ask for a meal from there again, definietly no. The cost was $50 what a waste of money.

These guys are awesome, we had our wedding reception at Eatery on the Rock back in November 2005, fantastic food and the owners are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Went back for dinner for our 1st anniversary in 2006 and it was still top quality service & food. Sadly we’ve moved, otherwise would definately have been back last year too!!
