Stopped for a light lunch. It’s NZ’s oldest pub in original building so well worth looking out for. We had a crisp cider on tap and a plate of fries with aoli, along with a small Hungarian bread with olives and feta. Both were good, though the bread was a small serving. The host was friendly, the pub decor comfortable and sunny. Lots of historic photos to look at.
