We came in for takeaways about 850 on my watch, and was told rudely by one of staff that they were closed I checked on site and it said till 9 was very upset as we were 3 families wanting a meal. It’s not the first time that’s happened by the same person too I think
Service is ok but not what it used to be. Food is still good but takes forever to be prepared. Would rather recommend going to the nandos in town.
Just been there this afternoon , I had whole chicken with two large sides include chips and salad. Really didn’t happy with the salad as it was with rotten fancy lettuce. Invoive number 011072. Hope you guys will look forward to it.
I been there today with my children. The food came very late and very cold. The chips was disgusting. The chicken had no flavour. I think the chef’s who worked long time ago were better then today.
First nandos I ever truly enjoyed the food was good and the staff are very friendly my group made a decent sized mixed order and they got it right the first time, the establishment was a bit small and quite noisy.
A decent restaurant but not with a spacious ambience. Loved d food and it was quite filling. We ordered peri peri fries, Nando’s special grilled chicken and Portuguese Veggie Paella; didn’t know that fries do come with an accompaniment!! Overall a good experience!!
Edit 6/5/16: They appear to have changed their menu and no longer offer the sets with sides + drinks. It is rather more expensive now, without any commensurate increase in quality, which is quite disappointing. I wonder if this is a nationwide change or just the Hamilton branch?Original review: IMO Nandos is fine if you see it for what it is – essentially a type of fast food chain. You get a tasty, filling meal that isn’t too expensive (although it’s more expensive than regular fast food), but don’t expect too much in the way of ambience or service. In fact, I think the service is pretty decent, they’ve always accommodated my requests. Their peri-peri sauce is a highlight for me, and their grilled chicken is always moist and tender. kiwifoodie.co.nz
