Tried this place once and likely would not return. For starters, they are pretty bad value for money – for $3.50 they serve basic Dilmah tea sachets that consists of leaf dustings ($5 per large pack in Pak n Save), whereas most other cafes that serve tea for that price at least have the decency to use real tea leaves from Harney & Sons, Tea Total, etc. I was also not asked if I wanted milk with my tea and was not served any, despite the fact that I ordered a black tea. Their food was also very mediocre.Service was very curt and abrupt, which I would find acceptable in a budget fish ‘n chips or fast food place, but not from a cafe. I don’t generally expect much from a franchise, but even then I can think of many cafe franchises that outperform this one by far. kiwifoodie.co.nz
Went through an obsession with this place! Really enjoyed the pasta! Haven’t been in a while though! The staff were kind and the atmosphere was warm and cosy! Prices were also good, hense why I kept going back! I don’t usually like franchise places, but I had no faults with this place!
I love Robert Harris coffee, so that’s a good start. Friendly staff, clean premises, reasonable choice of food. I love the fish pie!! We call in 3/4 times a week.
