Got to the coffee club at 4.30pm they close at 6pm Ordered a omelette, arrived burnt black on one side. At 5pm the staff started cleaning and vacuuming while we were still eating and there were at least 5 other tables occupied. It really felt like the staff wanted everyone out so they could clean up and get home. Certainly has put us off going back. Not value for your money.
Been here about 3 times to get my favourite iced frappe the Tropicana and every time it has been terrible..one time I dont think it even had ice even though the drink is an ice blend it was room temperature cold and very watery. Highly reccomend Coffee Club in Horotiu they never dissapoint me there.
I am a weekend regular at the CC and it is my favourite cafe to visit (not that I have tried loads of cafes in Hamilton). I like how there is ample parking in the mornign when it opens, the staff there are friendly and give good service. I just wish that The Base would bring back free WiFi! Otherwise, a big thumbup from me!
My partner ordered me a flat white. It turns out that the coffee was so terrible and digusting ! I just had one sip and decided never touching it again!
just went to the coffee club at the base for breakfast- so dissapointed! ordered eggs benedict with salmon. the meal was bland, eggs over cooked not to mention paying $30 for this and there was one measly piece of salmon. it was badly presented and I was not impressed. I spoke to the manager who advised assured me this was how all of them were and would do nothing about it. he was very unpleasant and left me feeling like an idiot in front of everyone. I will never go to the coffee club again after this experience.
I love the steak sandwich here. I get it all the time. I haven’t had any bad experience with customer service so that’s a plus. Waiting times can differ but it’s a good meal that’s for sure
Really busy Cafe, The staff were very friendly and helpful. The big menu outside with the chefs special drew us in, with such a wide range menu. The food was really good, however it was very expensive, especially the beer battered fish, which was really small and only filled me up half way. coffee was good and the food came out really quick. We will be back 🙂
