First time I ordered Pizza from this pizza hut in March, I was very disappointed with customer service and horrible taste of pizza. I thought to give another try to order again today but even hilarious experience.
We use the Claudelands location as it’s the closest to home. Every time we have ordered takeout, they quote a time for the food to be picked up. We always give it 5-10 minutes longer as we know it can get busy. However, they are always late & we end up waiting an additional 10 minutes or so. So they aren’t very good at quoting times versus delivery time & that can be a little irritating. They are always busy though & I think it’s because their specials are well priced. I have not had a bad experience there with the staff though there is one older gentleman (I say older as most of the employees are in their teens & 20’s) who always looks so grumpy! But we have to remember, one never knows what is happening in other people’s lives so I just smile through it.
There was always an issue here until I cut my losses and stopped going. Whether it was little things like forgotten sauce, or bigger things such as wrong pizza size/crust, or pizza order being misplaced and having to re-order. Would all be bearable with great service as the place gets understandably busy, but the service is consistently sub-par. With a team that clearly hate their jobs, and constant mistakes, it’s a wonder people still visit at all.
Deliberately arrived 15 min late because these muppets are always late getting pizzas out, half the time they are in fact ready and you either have to wait for them to randomly read out names, or in this case the person who took my payment didn’t even get my pizza or relay info to someone that I had paid, instead they walked around like a stunned mullet !!! while I stood there for 10 minutes !!!.Quite frankly this store has gone down hill in the last 2 years, the staff obviously hate their jobs and customer service and store process is an after thought.
I have to say, I love pizza. But the customer service at this pizza hut is so appalling. The people there are so rude and ignorant. There are only two people who actually made me feel welcome. I rate 2.0.
