Beautiful fresh oysters! Had a really lovely meal here during winter and it was quiet and cosy next to the fireplace. Loved having a visit from the resident ginger kitty too

Learned about this restaurant and the Wild Food challenge on the Coromandel website. Took the opportunity to have dinner there after exploring the upper Coromandel Peninsular. Food and service were excellent. The staff know the menu well and explained the specialty dish. We hope the chef wins the Wild Food competition.
I live locally and think this is the best restaurant in town. Food always the best. Staff the best also. Well done. Keep it up. Kennedy Bay Fan
All ways call in here when in Coromandel.Tasteful surroundings, relaxed and friendly and a guarantee of good food. Last her on our honeymoon last year.
We’ve enjoyed our meals at the Pepper Tree every time we’ve called in. Worth making the trip to Coromandel town to eat here. Service with a beaming smile and fabulous food too. Actually, our favourite in NZ (we’re from UK but we’ve managed to get there every summer for the past 7 years)
