This has been our local takeaway shop for many years and we patronise it weekly – it is simply the best, I used to live in Auckland and patronised shops there but was always happy to return for weekends in Hamilton to buy our fish and chips at Glenview Takeaways, I found nothing in Auckland to match this for clean cooking, good ingredients, attention to cooking, good and efficient service and owners who value their business and their clientele enough to ensure that their takeaways are the best that their consumers have had ! I have tried others when they close for a short vacation at Christmas/New Year and have been very very disappointed in other takeaways around Hamilton ! No wonder people come here from all over the place !
Absolutely love this fish and chip shop i live in dinsdale and when my family feel like fish and chips we always come here, the fish is so fresh and the food altogether is delicious and fresh and fantastic customer service aswell if you are feeding for alot of people get extra chips as we do but its definitely worth the decent average prices they offer even the Chinese food choices are good aswell recommended to all.
It can be pretty hard to find good fish and chips in land locked Hamilton. Pleased to report that we received lovely fish and chips from Glenview Takeaways. We ordered crumbed terikihi, spring rolls, potato fritters and chips and everything was cooked perfectly. Thumbs us from us. We are definitely going back.
