Great place to taste authentic Chinese cuisine! Always come with good service and consistently gourmet dish, recommend to all. They recently opened up another restaurant in Rototuna that deserves the same rating!
I was recommended to go here by an Chinese friend, I have since been back 4 times. i am vegetarian and was well catered for, yet my partner is a meat eater and loves the food as well.Its a little gem of a place that I would recommend to anyone.I like to take my own wine as it makes for an affordable night out
The staff were friendly at first but I ordered the chicken sichuan and they gave me spicy chicken and when I asked if they gave me sichuan the waiter lied to my face and said yes. and then they charged me the price for spicy chicken instead of sichuan, which is around 2 dollars more. They were also gonna charge us for 2 serves of rice but we only had one and pretty sure they charged us for two teas but we only had one. Had a feeling that the waiter knew he had made some mistakes but was trying to cover it up. The food was tasty though.
This place is a good hidden chinese place in Hamilton, that served good food.We did the banquet which is pretty good value for money – and the food is pretty endless!Restaurant was BYO which is the only reason how we discovered this place after the Thai restaurant we were going to up the road had no license at the time.Food was yummy, and I didn’t feel like it was dodgey at all!Plus they give you take away dishes for all the left overs from the banquet.
We were there early on a week night so were the only customers.The wait staff were helpful and we even got to have a conversation with the chef prior to ordering.The food helpings were generous.Just keep in mind that it only has a BYO license, so bring along your wine because they cannot serve you a glass from their own fridge.
