  I heard so many good things about this place. With my expectation so high I knew I was going to be disappointed. If it is any consolation, I am only as disappointed as what I thought I would be.The scallops were spot on. But I found the pork belly too fatty and the skin not quite crispy enough to my liking. The pumpkin salad was really good, but it is no different to what I would expect from the local cafe. Tuna and the beef were both rather forgettable. Overall it really did not impress me too much.

  We know this place is awesome but our review reflects the fact that they say they’re open until 11pm and we went in at 8.45pm to be told the kitchen was closing and we could only have dessert, that they don’t take bookings after 8.30pm. Whilst the waitress was lovely about it and we were understanding (a group of 6) seems mad to advertise open until 11pm. We went to a curry house around the corner and managed to eat and be back in our room within the hour so seems reasonable that we could have been served and out by 11pm.

  I went here for lunch with my sister and her new husband. I had heard great things about the place. Mostly about the beautiful location and restaurant design. What I should have been told about was the amazing service I would receive by a Spanish lady ( I hope I got that right. When I told management of her outstanding performance they said she was always amazing. Well done to her!!) But the great experience didn’t stop there. The food started to flow out, disappointingly, it did come in drabs. I would have appreciated it if it came together. The is my only gripe. The food was fantastic. Honestly, from the moist pork belly to the crispy chicken and every other lovely dish we had, it was perfect. And yes, the view is nice and it is flash and modern but, the star of the day was our beautiful waitress and the polenta chips!

  Recently came here with friends and my 5 year old daughter. The options for kids are minimal though , I was very surprised . The sense of urgency was good though – I commend that – since my 5 year old arrived very hungry – she received her food within 10 mins . We chose the crispy chicken and she had some of the potatoes n aioli – these were cut extremely small and were well over cooked and a bit hard for a child to eat I recommend revising the size of these . I ate the set menu , which all were average – good . After 100 dollars I was not 100% impressed after hearing a lot of good things . Not too sure if I would recommend

  Birthday dinner on a monday. None of us could choose so we went for the chefs special/set menu. Absolutely stunning food. Great wines. Greats beers. Steak tataki was the highlight followed by the dumplings and skargen rora. Missed a few snaps cause food too good

  Excellent food, excellent service- what more can I say. Order the Chefs choice an be surprised and delighted. Our party of four ordered the $60 option but could have gone lower in hindsight. Thanks for a great night out.

  Rated one of the most popular restaurants in Hamilton, have been there on several occasions. Interesting tapas menu, great location, excellent service. Skagen rora has always been one of my favorites. However, I would avoid to order crispy potatoes next time, as it wasn’t crispy at all, and in fact, it was quite oily and greasy.
