Nicely tucked away down an alley but opens up out the back to a nice setting with terraces down to the waikato River walkway. Great food. Busy, but the guys and girls there are really friendly and accommodating.
Walked through town looking for somewhere new. Stumbled upon this place and decided to try itZ Was not disappointed!Small dishes designed to share.- Gnocchi was lovely and tasty. Good portion size.- Calamari (saucy boys) 10/10 dish!- Ribs – loved the texture and flavour.- Fish & co. Was the only dish that we found underwhelming. Flavour wasn’t punching to the level the rest.Lovely ambiance & service. Would definitely come back
Great little venue tucked down the back of the riverview apartment block. Outdoor area is amazing in summer. I doors heated in winter. Tried the lamb kofta. Beefcheek croutons. Saucy boiz and sticky chicken. Craft beer selection ok but not expansive.
I’m coeliac, along with a couple of other dietary issues, so eating out somewhere new is always a little nerve-wracking, but the guys here were so incredibly helpful, and didn’t make me feel like a bother at all for having to re-adjust the cheese platter to suit my finicky tummy. Gorgeous atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food was 10/10. I was actually so confused to see the rating so low for them, that it forced me to sign up just to sing their praises 🙂 Would absolutely recommend!
Had a great experience here! Our waiter was super friendly, we had a great table outside with a view of the river and the decor inside was very on-trend. I had the scrambled eggs on toast w/ relish which was delicious and only $12! Also had the banana bread which was yummy also but wished the portion size had been bigger. My friend had the haloumi salad which was yum but she later realised that they had forgotten to put bacon in it which was on the menu. Other than that, would recommend this place!
Great food and awesome setting.I love this sort of dining and the selection is well thought out and offers some real differenc s from the usual offering around town. Fantastic to be able to see the river can’t wait to try more from the menu, well done!!
