The pizza was tasty and worth it. Though food and service are labelled as equals in any establishment. Unfortunately they lack of genuine service (in short, one staff was rude) I would recommend the place but choose your staff wisely.
Pizza tasted like spaghetti from a can with cheese- it’s definitely not as great as some people say- the look of the place is quite cool and the sizes are very New York but the pizza dough and sauce are below average. Won’t be back
I got the half pepperoni and half cheese pizza which was pretty greasy but it could potentially be considered an american thing, it is definitely worth it for the size you pay because of how large the pizza is. It also has a distinctive taste that tastes a little bit smoky and filled with herbs. All in all, this pizza place was alright but definitely could be better.
There was only one staff aged in between 18 to 23 at the time when i place order. she was really rude and ruff. i cant handle shuch behaviour, so cancelled ma order and selected another restaurant with a better professional ethics.
Review is for the pizza alone, staff and customer service was great! Maybe I’m not a huge American style pizza fan, but if that’s what your looking for this is the place.
Hi, i work in the center of town and love pizza and it is probably my love for pizza that stopped my from just posting a review on Sal’s Pizza Hamilton. If you are looking just for something to fill you up on a quick lunch, then Sal’s is your place. However, if you do enjoy pizza, like me, then Sal’s isn’t the best place to go. The pizza overall is average and very oily and also depends on what pizza you get that day. The big problem is likely that it is all pre-made and reheated pizzas (no wood fire oven – i personally believe pizza must be made with a wood fire oven and no other way). The amount of oil that is on top of the pizza is astonishing, not sure why and where it comes from but it makes eating the pizza messy affair. The major issue i have is that some days you get the previous day’s pizza that was not finished and just reheated again and served. I love pizza and i do like Sal’s Pizza, however i believe there are some management chances that can be made easily to ensure that every pizza is great (even if it is just heated pizza).
