We decided to give this place a go given it had the highest rating out of all the restaurants in hamilton. At this point of our trip to nz, we have given up our expectations that food will be good here. Every place we have eaten at has been very underwhelming and it makes us miss home. Sichuan was no exception. The service was good and the dumplings were nice, but that was one dish out of four we ordered. The menu is quite extensive and it makes me wonder why put something on a menu if you cant cook it nice?
Was great. The lamb was the best. Wanted try the fish fillet but portion was really big. I also bough the source from the shop. Kind staff
This has been one of my favorite spots for Sichuan food! I have been going to this place for over 4 years. Over the time these guys have put in a lot of effort to improve their food and service. This has definitely payed off, food is flavorful and they dont hesitate to make alterations if you prefer your dish a certain way. Friendly staff who happily serves customers. Sometimes they have mixed up or forgotten the order and a little reminder has fixed it up. These guys are hardworking and always looking out for customers to have the best experience even if you are just dropping in for a take away.

Not too spicy that it will burn your mouth off but enough kick to make you want more.Portions are huge.Medium priced. Wide variety of meat, seafood or vegetarian dishes.Love the spicy peanut.
The food here is amazing – just rich enough and large portions for a cheap price. The food came out within 5 minutes and the staff were super friendly and approachable.I’d recommend this place for sharing meals.The photo I have attached is the Sichuan style dumplings and sweet and sour pork with dark sauce.
I visited Sichuan Style Restaurant for dinner tonight. The staff, especially the waitress that served me tonight are very friendly. The food here is delicious and is highly recommended.
Great food, quick service. We had sizzling chicken and the BEST eggplant and pork dish I had ever had. Friendly staff and large portions. Highly recommended
