Have been here several times, both for lunch and dinner. Have also had takeaways. Their food is consistently delicious and are the best curries in New Zealand. Very tasty and enjoyable. Great to be able to take home leftovers so that we can enjoy it again the next day 🙂

Used this place several times and have found it to serve authentic food with definite differences in texture and flavour unlike all the other Indian restaurants I have ever tried in New Zealand. Tasty and enjoyable and we keep going back. Love that they let you take away any left overs. Agree that sometimes there is a wait and yes plates were cold but the food is so nice I let them off all that because it’s hard to find a decent curry!

We had the $35 banquet for 2 people which consisted of a starter and 4 curries. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was more than enough food for 2 so we took the leftovers home. The service was great, it seemed like they really wanted to make sure we were having a great dining experience. The staff were lovely and nothing was a problem. I can only cope with mild curries but my partner loves hot ones so when we explained this to the waiter, he offered to make them all mild and then have some spices on the side for my partner to create his as hot as he wanted them. Genius, it makes me wonder why other Indian restaurants don’t offer this!Overall, we had a great dinner and, as locals, we will definitely return, can’t wait!

Spur of the moment decision to have dinner here. Overall a nice experience. The food was excellent, fresh and hot. The desserts caught us by surprise, a nice surprise. Really enjoyed our desserts despite expecting something different. The bread and butter pudding was not the traditional English version and was delicious! The staff were lovely but could do with better service when it comes to refreshing drinks from the bar or clearing tables. Also one of our three mains and one of our three desserts came out much later than the other two which was not ideal.Overall great food and nice atmosphere, we will be back.

Have been coming here since they opened and have seen the food and service constantly get better. In saying that we haven’t had a bad experience here at all. We were some of their first diners and my only complaint on that meal was the water tasted of chlorine, which has been rectified.2 of Mike’s ales on tap which gives some good beer to drink, I would like to see more options with some of Mike’s bottled beer available, as it is so good.Good sized servings and great flavour was the consensus at our table over the range of dishes ordered. Service was good, a bit slow for the beer refill but our meals were out in good time and they accommodated a late order, having it served with everyone else.Passed on dessert as I was full so can’t comment there. This is our go to place for takeaways as well, quick & tasty.

Pleasantly surprised with fantastic food and menu – so good to have a decent indian in Cambridge finally! Nice venue, and great food/drink. Service could have been a little better considering it wasn’t busy, food came out in good time but little attention paid to drinks. Had to ask for dessert menu but gave that a miss as pretty bland options, but I have yet to find an indian with a decent dessert menu anyhow! 🙂
