This is the best sushi in the Waikato. I have going there since this lovely husband and wife team opened. The portions are more generous than any other that I have been too. The teriyaki salmon is always perfect but you may have to ask for it if they are very busy. It is always best to get in early as this is very popular with the locals.Love this place and the people 🙂
Have been going to Kisso ever since it first opened – this is the BEST sushi in the Waikato, perhaps even further! Their fresh and teriyaki salmon is to die for, with ENORMOUS pieces of salmon. HUGE pieces of salmon! I note another reviewer states prices are a bit higher than most – I disagree. I also rate their other sushi highly too, there is nothing average about any of their offerings. Regarding the comment about the owners’ attitude, this couple are hard cases, a bit cheeky, but always friendly, perhaps the customer took their humour the wrong way? I just love them, and would give them 10 stars if I could.
