Great food and excellent service. Good selection of wine also. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations from the menu. I had the seafood risotto – very yummy. The bread and dips was nice and would have easily fed three!
Absolutely fabulous. I could not fault this place even if I tried. Highly recommend the chicken breast on the kumera mash. Desserts to die for. The service was fantastic and the head chef Cameron even spoke to us about our experience. Well done!
My husband and I dined at The Nash last night as part of a group of 24 people celebrating a friends 60th Birthday. We had a very enjoyable evening and absolutely fabulous food. We all ate from the set menu, and I would have been happy with any of the choices. They served our table with very good timing of each course, and the staff were all friendly and professional. The mussel entree was perfect, as was the filet mignon – cooked to perfection. The finger food deserts were a perfect finish. I heard many compliments along the table. I would definitely recommend to anyone for a group booking, and we would be happy to dine there again !
Very bad service, we waited 40min after ordering our drinks and food for the drinks to even arrive. The waitress’s walked past our table numerous times without realising we were still waiting for our drinks to arrive. The girls neglected US and were very unprofessional in their work. It didn’t seem like they had ever worked in a restaurant before. They also didn’t seem to have A care that we decided to leave or feel the need to apologise either. Very disappointed.
Excellent meal. Started with breads and dips. My fellow diners had the chicken and pork belly and both meals were delightful for them. I had the venison, delicious with a bit of spice.Would definitely recommend Nash to others. You won’t be disappointed.
First time we had been for a meal after hearing mixed reviews decided to create own opinion. Restoration of dining area nice. Service really good and staff friendly. Our main meals were under welming, old fashioned, certainly not modern or creative. Pub food at best. Disappointing.
I have been to the Nash a few times recently. I must say I was impressed with my meals each time. I have been with just my husband and myself and others times with family and another time with friends, I must say that is a large range of different people and there was no complaints from anyone I ate with. I think over these visits between us we would have covered all the menu. There were lots of compliments about the food. Thank you Chefs. I must also praise the attentive restaurant staff they have employed there. I myself would recommend the Nash and will certainly be returning again.
